Ingredients Needed

Baked Boursin Cheese Pasta made with brown rice and Quinoa pasta, tomatoes, and spinach is ready in 30 minutes and way healthier than other pasta recipes made with heavy whipping cream.
- Grape Tomatoes
- Olive Oil
- Spices
- Boursin Cheese
- Small Red Onion
- Spinach
- Reserved Pasta water
- Pasta
- Grated Parmesean Cheese
Grape Tomatoes – or cherry tomatoes work in this recipe.
Spices – All you need is a pinch of Italian seasoning, oregano, and salt and pepper to taste.
Olive Oil – Use your favorite brand or try avocado oil.
Boursin Cheese – with fine garlic and herbs is my go-to. Feta cheese, and cream cheese are also good substitutes.
Pasta – I used Brown Rice and Quinoa Penne Pasta. However, you can use any pasta you like. Cooking time may vary depending on what kind of pasta you decide on.
Follow the directions on the back of the box for the exact time.
Spinach – Adds a nutritional boost and compliments this dish.
Also try; broccoli, squash, zucchini, and fresh Basil.
How to Make Aldi Baked Boursin Pasta




- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees – And get your baking dish ready.
- Place grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes – into a 9×13 inch baking dish and generously drizzle tomatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with seasonings.
- Stir tomatoes to coat – and place Boursin Cheese in the center of the baking dish and add sliced red onions over tomatoes.
- Bake in the oven – at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Until tomatoes are softened and the cheese is melted.
- While the tomatoes are roasting – Boil a pot of water and season water with salt. Once the water reaches a rapid boil add pasta.
- Follow directions on the back of the pasta box – for cooking time. Cooking time varies depending which brand of pasta you choose.
- Once noodles are cooked – Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining pasta. Drain pasta and set aside.
- When tomatoes are tender and cheese is melted use a fork to mash tomatoes. Be careful, tomatoes burst and the juice is hot!
- Add in the spinach and stir to combine – Add spinach when the dish is sizzling hot. If spinach is not wilting throw the pasta dish into the oven and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in 1/4 cup reserved pasta water – to the sauce and mix together. Pour the cooked pasta into the baking dish and toss to coat with the sauce.
- If sauce needs to be thinned out – Add another 1/4 cup pasta water at a time until sauce is thinned out to your liking.
- Taste test – and see if you’d like to add salt, pepper, or any spices you prefer.
- Garnish Baked Boursin Cheese Pasta – with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and finely chopped parsley. Serve pasta with salad, garlic bread, or baguette bread. Enjoy!

Notes
- If you like your pasta sauce thick don't add pasta water.
- Still have reserved pasta water on hand because once pasta sits in the sauce pasta absorbs majority of the sauce.
- I added 1/4 cup pasta water right when serving and another 1/4 cup before storing leftovers in the fridge.
- Pasta was even better the next day with the perfect amount of sauce.
