How to Make Leftover Turkey Noodle Soup

  1. Wash and peel vegetables. Wash and peel vegetables. Make sure to peel the first two layers of onion before dicing. Peel the outer layer of carrot with a potato peeler and set aside.

Ingredients

  • 2 celery stalks
  • 6 oz of elbow noodles
  • 2 cups of shredded leftover turkey or chicken
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 6 cups of water
  • 6 cups of chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons knorr chicken bouillon powder
  • 2 springs of fresh thyme
  • 1/2 spring fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  5. Stir in broth. Stir in broth, water, chicken bouillon powder, and Simmer 20 minutes on medium heat.
  6. Stir in frozen peas. Stir in frozen peas along with 2 cups shredded leftover turkey or leftover chicken. Simmer peas 2 minutes peas should cook all the way. Squeeze 1/2 lemon atop soup right before serving.
  7. Assemble soup. Assemble desired amount of noodles into individual bowls. Ladle turkey soup over noodles. Enjoy!
