Preheat Oven – and line a 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Combine ingredients for cake mix- In a large bowl, combine red velvet cake mix, eggs, egg-yolk, and oil. Stir until combined and set aside.

Combine ingredients for cheesecake filling – In another large bowl, add cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract and beat with an electric hand mixer until smooth, set aside.

Divide brownie batter – Measure out a half a cup of brownie batter and set aside. Spoon the rest of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly on the bottom of the greased baking dish.

Spread cheesecake batter over brownie batter – Evenly spread cheesecake filling over the bottom layer of brownie batter and dollop the remaining half cup of brownie batter over cheesecake filling.
